About CANIDAPT DOG TRAINING & WORKING DOGS:
Lead trainer Kate Peterson Koch CPDT-KA CSDT-2 is originally from St. Louis, Missouri (USA) and has trained dogs in a professional capacity since 2007. Her dog training interests include solid basic foundations for puppies and adults, behaviour modification for shy and fear-reactive dogs, scent detection, and training assistance dogs – all using up-to-date, science-backed force free methods. Kate apprenticed under several certified professional trainers and behaviour consultants while working full time in the holistic pet industry as a manager, buyer, and training coordinator. Kate is currently a trainer at Canine Development & Testing (Calgary, Alberta), and an Alberta qualified list service dog evaluator. CANIDAPT is a member of the Alberta Force Free Alliance (AFFA) and Pet Professional Guild.
