Amanda Lunsford, a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA), specializes in addressing displays of aggression, fear, reactivity, and anxiety in dogs. Since founding Ruff to Ready Dog Behavior in 2019, Amanda has helped families throughout Jacksonville and across the United States address complex behavioral challenges through humane, result-based behavior modification and training.
Amanda brings a unique blend of expertise: her background in leadership and human behavior informs her collaborative, family-centered approach to behavior consulting. She combines this with advanced training in canine behavior modification, grounded in the Humane Hierarchy and informed by ongoing education through leading conferences and workshops. She draws inspiration from Dr. Jim Crosby, Dr. Ian Dunbar, Dr. Amy Cook, Simone Mueller, Dr. Temple Grandin, Suzanne Clothier, and more.
Amanda’s consulting practice offers in-home assessments, collaborative behavior change programs (Foundation, Enhanced, and Advanced), analyzing behavior videos, and single private sessions. She works collaboratively with clients, dog sitters, and their veterinarians to create personalized behavior modification plans that address the root cause of behavior challenges and patterns.
